OUR STORY

Inspiration

Project RAI was inspired by a little boy and his delight in dressing up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz each day at childcare. As part of the Fargo/Moorhead/West Fargo Chamber Leadership Program, Kristin decided to develop her community change initiative with this story as inspiration. 
"My job as an early educator is to make children feel welcome in our space and affirm them for who they are. If they want to dress up as Dorothy all day, who am I to tell them it is wrong?" -Kristin
